KOGI FRESH NEWS


LABOUR DISAPPOINTs KOGI WORKERS FOR THE SECOND TIME RUNNING.

With the refusal of ibro governor of kogi state to pay the salary relativity 0f #16098 as agreed between  govt and the state work force, after  haven cajoled them to resume work from the  two months strike they had earlier embark on. The worker we gather were bracing up for another  show done with government this time without labour. But with an appeal  from the labour leader that it will insist the salary relativity was paid,  the workers hoped for the best this time around. In the long run all the workers got was a bigger disappointment as the so called labour could not deliver on their promise.
It was also gathered that as usual for kogi state labour executive they compromised their position for brown envelop. Meanwhile the labour leader finally settled for #14100 to start in June 2011 as  against may.
Mean while there  are pockets of agitation for the removal of the entire exco which is believed to have been infested by government appointees.

ECHOCHO’S APPEARANCE

It was a thing of joy and happiness for supporter  of
Alhaji Jibrin Isah Echocho when he alighted from his vehicle while on a condolence  visit to Iyale in Dekina local Government Area.
Echocho who appeared in usual immaculate white caftan was greeted on arrival with  songs  and amazement.  Meanwhile  Alhaji Jibrin  was receive by Hon.Tom  Zakari  the briefed who lost his mother.
Alhaji jibrin remained claim throughout the burial ceremony even though many of his supporters wanted him to say something.  After much pressure he asked his teaming supporters  to remain  resolute in the struggle as he would soon re launch his visit to all the wards.

NOLLYWOOD IN LOKOJA

The popular  artiste and film producer ( happening  man) Thompson makolo Jr is back on set shooting a new movie. The film maker is also working with other notable producer like Micheal Anaja who came in from Lagos to add a touch of professionalism.
The film which is due for release soon is nearing completion.
Meanwhile Mr. Micheal Anaja has called on all well meaning kogities to come out and support  film producer siting the industry as the new gold mine in Africa.
Anaja also sent a word of appreciation  to Alhaji Abubarka Rajab a philanthropist who had spent over ten million Naira on the production of a  film about kogi state in the past.
Alhaji Rajab Abubarka  is the international coordinator for the Jibrin Isah Echocho campaign  organisation world wide.

MUSLIM WOMEN

Muslim  girls have been called upon to avoid  indecent dressing which seem to be taking over the society in this modern day.  These call was made during an interaction of the  Muslim  umma in lokoja.
