IBRO REFUSES TO PAY KOGI WORKERS IN MAY

The past three weeks have been a hell of a period for civil servants and their family members in kogi state, the state capital which depend on the monthly emolument of workers has witnessed a slow down of commercial activities. Prior to this time there was an agreement between the state Government and the workers that the salary relativity will commence by the end of may 2011. May has come and gone and no salary in site, all efforts to convince the government to pay, has fallen on deaf ears. Before the may agreement workers had gone on strike for over one month before they were deceived to call off the strike.
