OKUN ELDERS PLEADS WITH IBRO,CASH AND SMILES


     OKUN ELDERS                                                                                                                                                                      Governor of kogi state Alhaji Ibrahim Idris dropped an indication during the week that all was well with his party the Peoples Democratic party in kogi state. He made these citation during a courtesy visit to his office at the Government  House by elders and delegation of the okun Traditional council  led by the Obaro of Kabba, Oba Michael Olobayo.
Alhaji Idris  who  promised to resolve all differences among PDP members before  the next governorship election said most of those who won election in Okun land on the platform of other parties were aggrieved PDP  members and there was no problem in bringing  them back together, noting that politics is a game. He described the difference as a family affair and commended the Traditional rulers for their support for to his administration saying government is committed to their welfare.

IGAWOOD

Young  Igala entrepreneurs  from the  eastern flank of  kogi state are now buying into the business of film production. In a chat with some Igala prominent nollywood actors and actress we were told of the impressive and steady rise of the Igala film industry also known as IGAWOOD.
Currently many top acts from the Igala area like happening man Thomson Makolo Jnr, Sain Atumeyi Salisu Yahaya, Mercy Usman, Blessing Jibrin are on set for the production of an epic movie titled OLUBO ENE been produced and directed by Frank Shaibu a former special Adviser to the Governor of  kogi state.  Stay glued to this  site and our face book group  kogi news forum for information when it is released.

PHYSICALLY CHALLENGE

The Governor of kogi state has been commended for his magnanimity to the plight of the physically challenged and retirees  in kogi state. The praises was  on showered on the governor by the Special Assistant to the Governor of kogi state on physically challenged HON. Solomon Ojonugwa Yahaya in lokoja  during the disbursement of some cash to the disable to enable them meet up the cost of purchasing tools after undergoing some training.

AMBASSADOR

The Spanish  ambassador was in lokoja some days ago ,on a visit to the Governor  of kogi state. According to the ambassador  his visit was the first of its kind to any Nigeria state and is significant as there was a Spanish firm handling the expansion and up grading of the confluence Beach Hotel.
The Ambassador promised to assist the state in attracting tourist to the state.
